Ensar Tekin, born in 1980, Turkey, studied journalism, before turning to a profession in journalism. From 2001-2003 he worked as a Reporter and cameraman assistant in AP (Associated Press) and TRT Istanbul. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a correspondent and occasionally as a photographer in Bursa. He focused solely on photography and articles, working on Police and courthouse cases.
From 2007 to 2009 he worked in IHA Operation News Desk, He traveled to many countries in the world for providing live Broadcast & SNG services to different clients (International media and Organizations). November 2008 he was assigned as a correspondent in Israel. Ensar Tekin, then spent couple of months in Palestine territories with the struggling to analyze as a backdrop the situation of that lawless nation and bring together all of his experiences during his numerous trips there.
From 2009 to 2012 Ensar Tekin was based in East Africa and produced various photo and video essays including one exploring culture in Ethiopia and another which examined extremist poverty in the country. He then moved to Somalia where he spent time photographing indigenous communities and small groups in the African region, combining photo assignments and video for different clients (Media and International Organizations).
Currently he is based in Istanbul, Turkey, combining photo assignments and video for different clients (Media and International Organizations).
His work has appeared in major publications, including Hurriyet, Milliyet, NTV, CNN TURK, TRT, RAI NEWS,BBC, and others.
